I’m a communications strategist with more than twenty years of experience building bridges between researchers and the individuals and organizations that can put their ideas into action. My work spans digital and traditional media, strategic communications, content development, and product design, with a focus on making complex research accessible, engaging, and influential.

My experience includes leading communications for the Economic Studies program at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C., and serving as Director of Strategic Communications and Outreach at Yale’s Tobin Center for Economic Policy. Throughout my career, I’ve led the development of dozens of websites, written hundreds of research summaries and policy briefs, and managed the creation of interactive tools and data visualizations that make complex evidence easier to understand and use. I’ve secured media coverage for new research and placed op-eds in publications including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, the Washington Post, Vox, The Atlantic, and many other local, national, and international outlets.

Outside of my consulting work, I’m an aspiring novelist and an occasional Substack writer. I live in Chicago with my husband, our two children, and a small white cat named Jon Snow.
